Notice of Special Meeting of the Williamson County Emergency Services District No. 4

In compliance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, notice is hereby given of a Special Meeting of the Board of Emergency Services Commissioners of Williamson County Emergency Services District No. 4 (District). The Special Meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2009 in the Liberty Hill Volunteer Fire Department Station (LHVFD), 301 Loop 332, Liberty Hill, Texas. The tentative agenda includes:

1. Call meeting to order and establish quorum.

2. Receive report from Liberty Hill Volunteer Fire Department on activities and events of same from time of last meeting of WCESD#4 to present and any departmental re-organization or activity relating to same.

3. Discussion and possible action on options relating to contractual relationship between WCESD#4 and Liberty Hill Volunteer Fire Department, including, but not limited to personnel, finances, and operations of Liberty Hill Volunteer Fire Department.

4. Discussion and possible action on termination of contract between WCESD#4 and Liberty Hill Volunteer Fire Department.

5. Discussion and possible action relating to payments and any and all other financial policies and procedures between or by WCESD#4 and/or Liberty Hill Volunteer Fire Department.

6. Discussion and possible action on WCESD#4 assuming the provision of emergency services from Liberty Hill Volunteer Fire Department, including personnel, finances, and operations related thereto.

7. Discussion and possible action on possible suspension of Chief and Administrative Assistant of Liberty Hill Volunteer Fire Department and possible revision to operations of same and its relationship with WCESD#4.

8. Discussion and possible action on authorizing appropriate officials of WCESD#4, including District's attorney or other appropriate individuals or entities, to assist WCESD#4 and/or Liberty Hill Volunteer Fire Department in possible re-organization or termination of services of Liberty Hill and possible assumption of the provision of emergency services by WCESD#4.

9. Adjourn. 

The Board of Emergency Services Commissioners of Williamson County Emergency Services District No. 4 reserves the right to enter into a closed session on any item posted on the above agenda pursuant to Chapter 552, Texas Government Code, or other applicable law, rule, or regulation, including, but not limited to, Section 551.071, 551.072, 551.073, or 551.074, Texas Government Code.
